Facilities

The Village Hall is at the Heart of Miserden, a beautiful village in the Cotswolds. The Hall has two main rooms, a large function room/area which can seat up to 80 with a stage and lighting, and a fully fitted kitchen which can be used to cater events, prepare teas or as a separate meeting room. The Hall has parking outside for 20 cars and a further overflow carpark 50 yards away for a further 40 cars.

The main hall is 13.5 x 6.5 meters squared with a capacity for 120 standing and 80 seated and the Meeting room is 4.5 x 3 meters squared with a capacity for 12 seated or 20 standing. The kitchen is fully fitted with ample work surface, a cooker, fridge, hot and cold water, chiller, tea urn, microwave, dishwasher as well as crockery and cutlery.

The Village Hall has good accessibility with a ramp at the main entrance and a disabled toilet.  We additionally have 2 ladies toilets and a gents. We have excellent mobile phone reception and we have free high speed broadband in the hall. Local services include the village post office and local, church and pub.

The Village Hall holds licences for live and recorded music, film, dance and theatre; a licence to sell alcohol must be applied for as required.

Location

Miserden Village is in the heart of the Cotswolds, 9 miles from Cheltenham, 9 miles from Cirencester and 10 miles from Gloucester.  

 

It is within easy reach of the M5, M4 and A40 via the A417.  Only 20 minutes from Kemble mainline train station, which is only 1 hour and 20 minutes to London Paddington.

The Glasshouse Café

The beautiful setting of the Glasshouse Café is the perfect place to refuel after a walk or before exploring the garden. Dogs are more than welcome in the café.
